Lifts and slopes open until the end of April

The 2024/2025 winter season has already gone into the archives in many ski resorts in Lombardy and the Alps... but not in Livigno, where you can officially ski until 1 May 2025. Skiing in Livigno at Easter and at the end of April

Livigno is the resort in Valtellina where skiing lasts the longest: here the ski season starts earlier, when it is not yet winter, and ends in late spring, thanks to abundant snowfall and the altitude that keeps the snow on the slopes for longer. This year, the lifts opened on 30 November 2024 and will officially close on Thursday 1 May 2025, snow conditions permitting.

This means that it will be possible to ski in Livigno at Easter and during the 25 April festivities, still finding plenty of lifts open both in town and at high altitude and slopes in excellent condition. Ski season end at the Ski Area Valandrea

The Valandrea Ski Area is among the lifts in the centre of Livigno still open in April, allowing skiers to take advantage of all the benefits of the spring season such as the beautiful sunny days and longer daylight hours. The only activity that has already closed is the snowkart, while all the other Valandrea facilities for skiers remain open and fully operational:

• the skilifts - Valandrea ski lift and Botarel chair lift - which reach different altitudes and give access to both slopes
• the two perfectly groomed and snow-covered Valandrea I and Valandrea IIski slopes;
• the ski carpet for beginners and children;
• the Valandrea ski school with ski instructors for private or group lessons, aimed at children and teenagers as well as adults wishing to learn to ski or improve their technique;
• the boardercross piste for evolutions on skis or snowboard, on which the 2025 edition of the legendary Rodèla Race was held on 12 April;
• the skipass ticket office where you can get your ski pass for skiing in Livigno, valid in all the lifts of the ski area;
• the car park in the town centre for skiers (find out what places are available) and the ski locker rental service to store personal belongings while skiing and sports equipment at the end of the day, even for several consecutive days.

In short, the Valandrea Ski Area is perfectly open and ready to welcome the most hardened skiers and those who want to close the season with an unforgettable last day on the snow. We are waiting for you!
