Livigno City Parking, parking in the centre close to everything
In summer, there is no snow in Livigno, with a few exceptions such as the Livigno Snow Farm (snow stored from the previous winter is brought into the town centre in August, beaten up with a snowcat and turned into a summer cross-country ski run), and consequently the Valandrea Ski Area is closed. But some of our services are still fully operational and available to the many tourists and visitors: for example, our car park in the centre of Livigno.
Where to park in the centre of Livigno

Parking in Livigno may not be easy, especially during peak tourist periods such as July and August, and all the more so with the construction work on the future underground car park in the Mottolino area this summer, which prevents the use of the large free car park in that area.
Leaving your car in the car parks in the centre is the best solution, whatever activity you wish to do during the day. The Valandrea car park (Livigno City Parking), adjacent to the ski lifts and perfect for skiers, is also ideally located in the summer season: just outside the pedestrian zone, right in front of Livigno's free bus stop, easily accessible from the main road through the centre of Livigno.
Once you have left your car at the Valandrea car park, you can quickly reach Livigno's main attractions and sights:
- the shopping street, closed to vehicular traffic, is only a few steps away if you want to indulge in a shopping session;
- restaurants and bars in the centre are along the street, walking up to the town for a pleasant stroll under the Livigno sun;
- Livigno's cycle and pedestrian path can be reached from the nearby Santa Maria church (taking the subway behind it) and can be walked or cycled to Livigno's dairy and lake;
- the hiking trails on the side of the town centre, with the possibility of ascending on foot or by cable car;
- the Museum of Livigno (MUS!), only a few hundred metres away, is located in a real old house in the village, with furnishings, tools, clothes and objects from the past and from Alpine tradition, very interesting to visit when it rains in Livigno or for a cultural day out, even with children;
- the Livigno sports centre, with its artificial grass football pitch (which turns into a huge skating rink in winter), and the basketball court in the Don Bosco playground, next to the parish church;
- the Livigno library, in the school building and very rich in children's books, and the cinema, both in the church area very close to the car park;
- the stop of Livigno's shuttle bus, which is completely free of charge and allows you to reach any area of the town, including the more distant ones such as Val Federia or the hamlet of San Rocco.
